Photo Competition
All SCPD Photography Club members are invited to participate in club competitions. Three to four competitions are held annually. Photo competition information and submission links will be emailed to members before each competition. Pre-competition workshops will be announced via email as well.

Prior to entering a competition, members are encouraged to learn how photos are judged, and be familiar with the guidelines used for Competition Categories.

10 Point Checklist
Take a good look at the photo you took. Does it have what it takes to compete? Refer to the 10-Point Checklist for a summary of what is needed for a great photo.
If you are unfamiliar with terms used in the checklist, it is easy to learn by searching the term in question via Google, Adobe, YouTube, or your favorite search option.
The 4s and 5s
Member competition photos are scored on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest score possible.
